President - Kevin Schuck

Kevin started his dive journey in Southern California earning the NAUI Open Water I certificate in 1990 and continuing on to earn certificates in Open Water II, Rescue Diver, and Dive Master and logging many beach dives up and down the diverse SOCAL locations that included rock entries, night dives, and a plethora of class dives before moving to Texas in 1992.  One of Kevin’s favorite classes was the Rescue Diver class, as we worked the skills a great deal in and out of the surf zone. Kevin took a 19 year diving hiatus returning to active diving when he joined the Diving Rebels in 2011 attending club and non-club outings.  In 2013, Kevin was elected into the position of Treasurer which he held through 2016 before becoming President. Kevin enjoys his involvement in with the club for many reasons including socializing, networking, and keeping up his dive skills with the opportunity for leadership at any level of the organization. “The club has many informal roles that need to be filled to make the various undertakings a great success and the value of membership can be greatly increased by participating at the highest level a member is comfortable.”
